Yahoo pulls out the big guns (homepage advertising) to attempt to overpower Carl Icahn from ousting the Yahoo executive team. Personally, I find these ads not tailored to a majority of their users. Inside, I’ll show you the array of ads Yahoo is running against Icahn and my thoughts on it.

Yahoo Implodes

Every company changes. Along with changes come the effects on employee morale and drive to stay on board for the path a company takes. Instead of a nasty layoff, it appears Yahoo employees are packing their office up on their own and walking out the front door.

Robert Scobleizer believes Microsoft is the real “loser” after bailing out of the acquisition of Yahoo. I disagree, I mean, you can’t dispute the facts. Investors invest because of longevity and ROI, and clearly Yahoo missed their mark.

Microhoo: No Deal

Yesterday, Microsoft announced they have withdrawn their offer to acquire Yahoo. After much push and pull, the saga is finally over. On the other hand, Yahoo and Google appear to have solidified their partnership for online advertising.
