After a couple hours of attempting to jailbreak my iPhone 3G, I was able to do it relatively quickly using the redsn0w method for Windows. The key to a successful jailbreak is patience and the correct firmware from Apple. Here’s how I did it.

The wireless industry has two major news for consumers. For one, the iPhone has some healthy competition from Google’s Android phone which T-Mobile will be the carrier and will be released today. Second, Verizon released a press release stating they are no longer requiring contracts and will stop charging ETFs.

AOL’s Music Programming team finally ‘gets it,’ with their newest incarnation of online streaming radio. Apple recently awarded AOL an Apple Design Award in the Entertainment category for upcoming applications.
