How to Stop the Windows Update Nag Windows!

By the grace of God or my incessant bitching yesterday, Lifehacker posted how to stop the Windows Update window from popping up again.

  1. Start
  2. Run
  3. Type sc stop wuauserv.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Live in peace without that Automatic Updates pop-up.
