I haven’t written any recent blog entries because my grandfather passed away on Sunday, which saddened me greatly, but I continued on to what seemed to be my routine. He will be greatly missed in our family among all of his friends and family.

My grandfather was my only grandparent that I met and bonded with. He always had a passion for keeping active and he definitely enjoyed travelling and living through unique experiences like hiking and whatnot. He would frequently send e-mail and sent gifts with sentimental value and I always appreciated them.

I will miss the times that we had, the talks we had and his values he shared. I wish we had a chance to talk more; specifically, the opportunity to learn from his past to shape my future.

Robert T. McKee will be missed.
