The Next Terrorist Attack: The Internet

Whatever you call me, you can’t really dispute that the next form of terrorism would likely take place over the Internet. In this piece, I will describe how a terrorist attack on the Internet could take place as well as have a much higher impact than blowing up a building or hijacking an airplane.

Consumer Advocacy: MySpace AMBER Alerts

VA Requires Students to Learn Online Safety

Virginia, the state that houses NCMEC and AOL, has enacted a policy that schools must now facilitate classes that help keeps kids safe on the Web. Before I shoot it down, I want to say that this is a step in the right direction; I just don’t believe that the fear of online predators is all that realistic. Traffic Enforcement CameraScottsdale (a very affluent region of Phoenix), netted $2 million in revenue from one highway due to speed enforcement cameras, along an 8-mile stretch on the 101-Loop in a span of two years.
