Just Because You Can, Doesn’t Mean You Should

Some of my subscribers know about the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) as well as my critical perspective on it. Well, another victim of the DMCA is “Scrabulous,” a game that was similar to the “Scrabble” game on Facebook. Recently, Hasbro, owner of Scrabble, filed a legal complaint over the unauthorized use of Scrabulous on Facebook. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

AOL Phisher Gets Seven Years for Phishing

Michael Dolan, 24, was sentenced yesterday to seven years in prison for fraud and aggravated identity theft for four-year string of phishing activity on AOL.
