Apple’s Market Value soars above Dell

January 14th, 2006

Apple’s (AAPL) market value exceeds Dell. I love it. Dell sucks, and its time their investors see it too. I would pick a MacBook Pro over any Dell hands down.

Nine years after Michael Dell said he’d shut down Apple and give the money to the shareholders, Apple has passed Dell in market value, at $72,132,428,843 compared to Dell’s $71,970,702,760. Analysts expect Apple to continue to outperform competitors, citing 2006 as ‘poised to be the year of both iPod growth and, more importantly, Mac market share gains,’ with earnings growing more than 35%(From Slashdot article Apple Surpasses Dell’s Market Value)

Upgrading to WordPress 2.0

January 3rd, 2006

WordPress 2.0 Upgrade WordPress 2.0 GM’d and has a nicer interface and better anti-spam technology. You dont see all the spam comments I get, since I hold them in moderation before publishing; hopefully it will slow down.

Please expect the blog to momentarily go down; and interface to change.

Update: I upgraded it fairly seamlessly. I recommend to anyone on WP 1.5x to upgrade. I also installed a couple anti-spam plugins. :)
